RavinRhino: 355 rave and festival fashion sales

Growing a rave and festival fashion brand from launch to consistent sales

RavinRhino is an online store for rave and festival outfits, offering complete looks in one place so shoppers can find inspiration without visiting several stores.

Main objective

The brand had not promoted its online store before. We launched advertising to generate initial sales and scale the combinations that performed well.

First advertising launch

  • We divided campaigns by product category without restricting age or gender.
  • We tested static images and video.
  • Women purchased more often, and leads from this audience cost less.
  • The first winning product was Ribbons Tracers (10 Colors).

Creating a ready-to-wear looks page

Competitor analysis showed that shoppers responded better to complete looks. We created a curated-outfit page and directed ads to it. Average order value rose from €27.79 to €39.30.

Website optimisation

Although average order value rose, ROAS did not. Funnel analysis showed website conversion was only 0.30%. We recommended adding reviews, improving product pages and adding local-language versions for Eurozone markets. After some changes and new language versions, conversion increased from 0.30% to 1.04% and average order value from €39.30 to €48.52. Sales grew several times over and ROAS reached 2. We also used Dynamic Language Optimisation to show ads in different languages within one ad set.

Testing new products and creatives

For the next drop, we tested new products with video and static ads. Top Nova Noir, Top Celestial and Top Ethereal generated the strongest sales, so we focused on them. Dynamic creatives performed well initially but fatigued quickly because the product range was limited.

Autumn tests and hypotheses

When results began to fall, we tested ads in the strongest markets of Austria and Germany, local campaigns featuring Austrian clubs, and a wider test across product categories. These tests did not lift ROAS beyond 1.5. However, static outfit images set against club backgrounds earned strong click-through rates. Accessories underperformed, so we focused on bodysuits and tops.

Resuming work after a pause

The client paused campaigns to prepare a new drop. Before restarting, we reviewed the highest-ROAS markets—France, Germany and Austria—and the best-selling products: Bodysuit Dark Nebula, Top Nova Noir, Ribbon Tracers (10 Colors), Top Celestial and Top Ethereal. Video was the strongest format. The campaigns achieved ROAS of 2.06 in their first week, and optimisation continues.

Conclusion

Campaigns and optimisation significantly improved sales and advertising efficiency. Ready-to-wear pages and website improvements raised average order value from €27.79 to €48.52 and conversion from 0.30% to 1.04%. ROAS improved to 2. We identified leading products and effective video formats, building a repeatable approach to growth.

Next steps

We are gradually restoring the strongest campaigns, focusing on high-ROAS markets, leading products—including Ribbon Tracers (10 Colors)—and video creatives. We are preparing ads for the next drop and developing a Meta Ads strategy for a possible Kickstarter launch.
